Wallpaper Help - 480x800 the only acceptable format?

Hey crew,

So I went on google and downloaded a simple picture and when I apply it to my wallpaper, the picture seems zoomed in. like the picture is too big for the screen.
And it won't let me resize it properly. is this a common issue with this phone?
because that is rather annoying.

The picture seems zoomed-in because [the most logic case] it is of small dimensions [maybe 100x80] !
You can set up any type of image [1280x1024 ,1024x768] and Crop [RESIZE in Android 2.3.x] from Wallapaper > Gallery .
