Root Wallpaper Scrolling

In CM9, when setting a wallpaper as I'm sure some of you have noticed, it only allows you to set it so it CAN be scrolled. In other words, how you can't only crop a section on the left or right of a photo.

So I use Picspeed wallpapers to set using only the 800x480 frame because I don't scroll. But then whenever I reboot, the system zooms in on the cropped section so it can be scrolled, thus obviously distorting my image.

Anyone know a fix?

Solves the ability to set it, but it still zooms on reboot...

I've been using Nova. So Apex fixes it?
