Help Wallpaper size for background

Mastadex

Newbie
According to wikipedia, the samsung galaxy S has a screen size of 480x800. But when I transfer over images of that size, android always tries to crop the image. When that happens, my backgrund looks all blocky and zoomed in. I tried sending over images of various sizes that I read about, but it always wants to crop them.

Any suggestions?

Just expand the box to fill virtually all of the wallpaper, it shouldn't be pixellated/blurry onscreen (they aren't for me at any rate).

Just tap on the crop box once and you will get border marks. Now you can drag the border to the full image...

Also, if you have many homescreens, the image would be stretched. Having just one screen would solve that problem and ensure that you can see the entire image as the background.
