Help Wallpaper Size

[jericko]

What is the best size for wallpaper? I downloaded some that were 1280 x 800 but when I put them on my TP, it forces me to crop them and they look like crap. Any tips or tricks?

Thanks

I created a folder on my sdcard called wallpaper and use wallpaper rotator to change it every 30 minutes.

What size wallpaper do you grab?

No, sorry, I don't. Just spent some time looking again.

Try this: Where is a Rom's default wallpaper stored? - xda-developers

If you take the rom zip file and extract the framework-res.apk, rename the apk to zip, you may be able to find your wallpaper in there.

Did you find it or extract it?

Found it in the framework-res.apk and extracted it from a folder in there. Forgot which one tho lol

There's lots of neat stuff there. That's how you change the appearance or icons by swapping them out in the framework.
