The way Android applies wallpaper seems odd. I have a number of pics which I also use for wallpaper on my PC and which I loaded onto my Galaxy Tab for the same purpose. Trouble is, instead of fitting a pic to the screen size, as in Windows, it's spread over all desktop screens so I only see a part of it at any given time, which is not what I want at all. Is there something wrong with the way I'm doing it, or is it just the way Android works ? It seems a very curious way of doing things.

Its the way android works. It spreads accordingly to your homescreens. You can always crop it to 480x800 if u use only 1 homescreen. Like me

You can always install Launcher Pro as this allows you to lock your photo into the one positition.
