Help Wallpapers are low-quality

Hello,

I'm trying to add my personal pictures as my wallpaper. However, when I do, they come out all choppy and very low-quality. It does look superb in my gallery though. What gives???

I just d/led a 640x480 picture and it still isn't the same. I looked up the dimensions of a wallpaper from Flikie which comes out real nice on the screen and the dimensions are 960x854. I guess I'm missing something here. I just don't know what.

I believe the correct resolution for the Epic 4G is 960x800.

I had this problem to. Its the gallery application that's dropping the quality. Try this

Download a program called crop wallpaper from the market . Goto gallery and share the picture you want with crop wallpaper and then you'll have high quality wallpaper.
