Wanamlite 9.2 ICS ROM out (includes Siyah kernel)

gave this a go and it works fine, restored all my stuff from titanium and all is well, no FC's (yet?!). had a go with andyrom ICS in the past, the poor battery life killed its usability for me.

def not as smooth as checkrom, but this is worth having a look at. too early to tell about battery life, charging up now, will report back findings. should be interesting to see how this early ICS vers of siyah works out.

oh, and am gonna have some fun with facelock down the pub later ;)

Other than the fc with contact adding which I did attempt just to replicate what's already known, its been fine all day.

The only other bug I've noticed for a while is that when opening up a link from NewsRob and maybe elsewhere to the internet, the new link isn't loaded but just the old (last opened ) page.

I noticed that bug on internet and I get it occasionally now running v9.0.

yup, that fix did it for me too. but still ended back with my smooth checkrom v6 backup, as i still see ICS (at the mo, i hope the release version is summat special) as a purely cosmetic update.

I've not found this 9.3 not so easily to install - wipe all and then flash was causing Superuser issues meaning I couldn't reinstall using Titanium Backup.

But I think I may have found a new method of install.....

I can't say i'm too impressed with this so far. It's the first LPQ ICS rom i've tried and it's still fairly slow at times. The battery life is definitely an improvement since the last time I tried an ICS leak, but i'll be going back to CheckRom for now I think.

9.4. has been released

Interestingly, Chrome browser no longer force closes after 30 seconds :-), so it seems that the ROM base is more robust.

will give 9.4 a flash after i pick up my new iPad :D

the download link on wanam's google page is maxed out. any alternative DL links?

Traitor to the cause are you :p

hehe. i had an iphone for 4 years before i turned to the s2 darkside ;)

didnt realise the s2 vers of ics looks basically like gingerbread till i installed 9.5.
only catchin on now devs were using verts ics theme. makes the s2 ics even more
of a let down now.

Exactly. That's why I'm waiting for CM9 to mature, which could be another couple of months yet.

And as if by magic, 9.6 emerges.
Probably same as 9.5 but ASOP themed thank God.:)

battery life seems pretty good on 9.5 so far, i put on verts theme aswell so maybe just stick with it for now :D
