hey guys i just bought a galaxy nexus and i tried updating it to 4.2 android but it says up to date in the software update..a friend of mine has the same phone and he said he changed his build to google play yakju..he told me to check my build in google maps settings about and it said samsung yakjujp there..i want to flash the google play yakju version on my phone too so that i get the latest updates from google too..how can i do that? i heard there are toolkits to change ur build..i wanna know where i can get that..and i also want step by step instructions coz i really dont wanna brick my new phone...plz help..thanks in advance!

What you'll want to do if you are using Windows is to use Wugs Nexus Toolkit. The steps you'll want to do are:
1) Install the toolkit
2) Install drivers(signed)
2) Unlock the bootloader
3) Flash Stock + Unroot.
The toolkit will provide step-by-step instructions with pictures for installing the drivers. The last two steps will be mostly automated once you select with them instructions for parts you need to do manually. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
