Accessories Want an EVO Otterbox Case? Read this...

I got my seidio this morning it is quite sturdy and I think it'll do fine. That HD2 otterbox in the video I posted above is some kind of awesome though
 
I had an Otterbox on my Hero, and loved it.

Doubt I will get it for the evo, especially if it covers the bottom buttons like on the HD2.

Also, the Otterbox Commuter case DOES cover the corners. It is basically a silicone case that is then covered with a plastic case. I dropped my Hero the other day, it landed flat on it's back from about 5 feet up. Made a loud noise from the plastic hitting the concrete, but when I looked at the phone, not a single scratch or anything. Oh, and the person I was talking to barely heard it hit the concrete.

These cases are rugged. Well worth the money, but I may try a Seido.
 
Just sent them an e-mail also. Hopefully, if there are enough of us that e-mailed Otterbox, the case will come out quickly (crossing my fingers!!).

Anyone who has considered getting one, please email them showing interest. It won't hurt and at least they'll push up a release date for it.
 
been lurking for a while now, proud owner of an htc evo. i just emailed otter, requesting the same thing everyone else has. i have the body glove case but what i would give for an otterbox defender case like the iphone one, friends of mine throw theyre iphones against the wall with it and its unaffected.
 
Sent OtterBox and email as well. I quoted there about us page " We've Got Technology Covered!" which in this case they don't. I also said the CEO needs to take business 101. But hey that's just me.
 
Nice, i emailed too. Seidio has a rugged case coming in 7-10 days according to seidioseidio on here.... conceptual drawing looks cool as well.
 
I have an Otterbox commuter case for my Blackberry Tour, and it's absolutely everything I had hoped for. Very durable, protective, and stylish. Not as much bulk as the Defender, but it sure did hold up to countless bumps, falls, and slips.
I can't wait for Otterbox to release (IF they do) one for the EVO. I've had plenty of trials of silicone cases, hard cases, and they just don't measure up to Otterbox.
