Thank you KaotiKdragon for the link to this website that has a lot of swype theme's in .apk form and flashable zip form. These are some really nice themes.

Available is V3 V5 and some V6. Beta and stock form. All confirmed working by ME for our Esteem.

You must uninstall your version of Swype on your phone first.

You can either push the apk's with http://androidforums.com/esteem-all-things-root/517688-adb-android-commander.html

from which the swype file will need to be placed in the system/app folder.
If the system doesn't install automatically, simply navigate to that folder through file manager or astro and run the apk as an install straight from there and it will install as normal. Worked perfect for me.

OR the owner of the themes has flash-able versions of SOME of the themes but not all. Place on your SD and flash through CWM after wiping cache and dalvik.

Can't seem to find Swype in system/app on broken out eaten ROM

I see you.. Are on the computer/phone.
 
Yeah found it. Took me a while but found it. Ics stock Swype. With Ld ics theme. With 360 launcher with ics theme xD go SMS with.. Ics theme lol

Ics outline for me. I have jbthemes.com bookmarked though. There are some cool ics wallpapers also.

i had it working perfect, now that i flashed a new rom im trying to get it back and i keep getting a swype force close :mad:

Yeah I had the same problem. I tried re installing and everything. nothing worked but I eventually went back to that ROM so its back working.

yeah ive tried several times. I just started running #2 ROM, so you think its the ROM not allowing it?
 
That's weird cause I'm running #2 right now with one of the themed Swypes and it's running just fine. I just downloaded the apk onto My sd card and installed it through root explorer.

did you delete the old swype or keep both? and did you download v6 or v5?
