Help Want to change default web browser to dolphin

Nope no need to root sir.
Here this will solve all you problems:

1st issue: change web browser at bottom to dolphin.
- Open up your applications drawer, hit menu button and select view type. Select customizable grid. Once you are in that grid, scroll around your app drawer and find dolphin...hit menu...hit edit...long press on dolphin app, slide to your dock at the bottom where you want to place it. Once its done just press the home button on your phone...should have replaced dolphin with the default web app there.

2nd issue: default email to gmail???
- can you be more specific? like do you want the email app to show your gmail ...? Just answer this question: How is gmail not your default email?

Yeah.. It is.. What i meant was i wanted the gmail icon at the bottom of the screen not the stock email icon.. I like the look of it better.

Yeah i figured it out.. New question.. Being a miami dolphins fan i changed the dolphin browser icon to the teams logo.. This only creates a shortcut doesnt change the icon in my app menu.. So i cant drag to bottom of screen... Any ideas how to make it work??

Yes i can make it work.

1. Give me the icon you want and i'll make an App with that icon that just acts as a shortcut to dolphin. This is one way.

2. (MUCH BETTER SOLUTION FOR YOU) You can also get a new launcher, like a new "desktop" for your phone which is a HUGE new area for you to explore and it takes a while to find the right launcher, but take a look at Launcher Pro, it allows for a 5-icon tray and a 5x5 icon desktop. all you have to do to change icons on the tray in launcher pro is just long-press on it. But, with the default touchWiz,...none of that fancy stuff...just a bare launcher. Check out Launcher Pro vs default: Touch Wiz vs. Launcher Pro - YouTube

Also with launchers, you can hide apps like bloatware apps. Here is a thread on launchers with a list of all launchers for you to find the right one: http://androidforums.com/android-applications/404459-big-list-home-launchers.html

I should mention, launchers are seperate apps, they arent normal apps that show up in your app drawer so to access them just press your home key and a popup with come up asking you which launcher to use as your home. Here you can set one launcher as the default.
 
Already changed the apps icon.. But can only get it as a shortcut meaning upper screen... Bottom screen still shows the original dolphin browser icon.. It doesnt change it in the lower screen and in my apps menu... I want my new icon in the bottom of the screen... I do like a lot of the features on it but I didnt really like launcher pro if i wanted an htc i would have bought one... The minute i used it all i could think of were my friends evos...

Well a few things... I think it runs a lil faster... Maybe maybe not... But the options are huge... Theres a gesture button that u press and draw a letter on ur screen and it sends u to a site based on what u put... G google f facebook etc etc... And the add ons are cool... U can change the text size of sites.. The reader will take whatever site ur looking at and make it all text like reading a book... Theres a lot more... But by now im rambling.. Just check it out its free if u dont like it delete it...

I just downloaded the dolphin mini because some of the reviews said it was better then the hd version,so which one are you talking about?? I like that you can have different tabs and all that but the tabs seem to take up alot of space is there anyway to make the web full screen,and maybe only show the tabs when you want choose a different page?? as far as all the other stuff i haven't checked it out that much just got on it for a couple of minutes

I have the hd... But to go full screen u scroll from right to left it will pop up some options and all ur add ons... The full screen is the top right option.. Same arrow inward outward look u would see on ur pc...
