Want to format my tablet

I have Galaxy Tab 3 and have installed lots of programs on it and it seems that it is lagging a lot due to the programs. Therefore, I want to format it (factory reset or something similar to that). I have the following questions:

1- Is factory reset makes the device fresh? and if so, is this the only way to improve the device performance (same as a new one)?

2- I have paid for some apps from Google Play. How to re-install them later without the need to pay again?

3- I have some game profiles (not online). Is it possible to save them and use them after the device is reset?

Thanks for your help.

1. yes a factory reset will erase all data and puts the device back to its original state.
2. all you paid apps are yours to keep. google keeps track of what your purchased and you can just re-download them back to your device without having to pay for it.
3.game profiles are data so they will be erased. there is no way of saving them that i know of unless you root the device.

curious how much memory do you have left?

any specific questions on the tab 3 then i would hit up the tab 3 forum.

Yeah it probably isnt the apps slowin it down. Defo check out the tab 3 forum. Look into the app Helium if you want to back up apps and/or their data (settings, game progress)
