Since my Gb update, I have wanted to go back to froyo so I can get my root back using z4root. Problem is, all the help I got just gives general info on things like "just sbf back to froyo" or "go to this site and follow directions" that's great if you know what they're talking about. I don't. Are there any how to books on learning the android system? Explaining what the terminations mean? I'd live to learn.

I bricked my droid 2 and wanted it back because it's my test device. Before doing any mods to my X I do it on my D2.
I had never done an SBF before, was trying to avoid it at all costs, but had to do it.
I used this and was back up and running within 30 minutes. You of course would have to make sure you get the files for the X but the procedures are the same.
