Root Want to root but am on unofficial 2.2....problem??

Ok, so I have decided to finally root my phone but am still running the unofficial 2.2. If I use the one click rooting method, will this brick my phone or cause any issues?

I didn't see anything on this so just want to make sure

Look at the Idiot one and the stock to custom one. Superoneclick is the current easiest way to root.

lol thanks! I came from the iPhone and jailbroke it all the time. I was amazed at what the phone was capable of doing but wasn't "allowed" to do.

My DX definitely is leaps and bounds beyond that as-is....I just love a lot of the new looks and implementations you can create using root. Looking at the "what do your screens look like?" thread made me wanna root it all the time

Ok I keep trying to root and everything seems to be just fine (I have all the right drivers, I am connected, I'm in USB debugging, etc....but when I'm told to toggle bluetooth, it keeps saying the root failed....any suggestions?

what method of root are you using? did you try superoneclick? that worked for me with no issues.
