Root Warning about audio flashing and request for /system dump

Don't try flashing Beats Audio for this phone. If you do, the audio will no longer work. I'm guessing this will go for the DSP manager as well. I learned that hands on. Whoops.

Anyways, since that happened and there's no ROM from Kyocera on their site, I was wondering if anyone with a Rise would be able to send a /system dump to me or a dump with the files that at could at least fix my audio.

Any help regarding that would be greatly appreciated.

It's fine. I wiped it and quietly exchanged it at RS.

Just pulled a copy of /system, so now if I run into any problems into the future, I'm sure I can just restore that copy and go on with life. Yay!

Uhh... I read this thread too late.. :( I flashed Beats Audio and now my phone don't work. :( can anyone provide me with theirs? It deactivated and the phone app force closes. :(

This is the /system/ folder pulled via adb. Now in order to put it on to the rise, I would use adb and then factory reset.

I do not have the phone anymore so you'll have to look around how to safely push it to your phone. My guess is use adb push system /system/ and have it in your android SDK folder.

Good luck! All else fails, just quietly exchange it and say nothing works.

Yeah, it gradually got worse to the point to where it didnt turn on, so I called and said that a couple of friends were playing around and it got dropped in water, I ran the battery under water to make the sticker red. Im getting one this coming week, hopefully. :(

Out of curiosity, how are u flashing anything without a custom recovery? Or are u just using a file explorer and putting files in their respective places? And/or the "adb push" method?
