Root Warning Backup Your Fierce

Has anyone tried changing the font of their phone? If you do try I would suggest using ROM toolbox pro. Let me know how it turns out, I'm waiting to buy this phone, metro's around me are sold out.
 
I tried to flash your backup as well, i got an error saying

"this is a secure base-band chip please select an auth file first"

I double checked through your zip to make sure i hadnt missed it.

Im trying to repair my phone as the OTA i got today semi bricked it everything crash's non stop on it, so much in fact after trying a factory reset i cant even go through the setup on it.


1/16/14 UPDATE: I talked to T-Mobile today they want me to RMA the phone since its still under warranty id actually rather not do that since it takes so bloody long. Has anyone had any success flashing the backup that was provided?

There is your answer I'm sorry to say your screwed... If you can't flash recovery what made you think you can use mtk tools?

I never tried to flash a recovery on the phone, never bothered modding it at all i play with my S3 for all that since its useless to me where I live now. I was just hoping I didn't have to RMA the dang thing as its the only GSM phone I own and ill be without for however bloody long they have the thing...

I have both the metropcs version and the tmobile version of the Alcatel fierce...Niether have been rooted...I will be more then happy to give you guys the stock rom of both if you can tell me how...My goal is to transform the metro version into a tmobile one(mostly cuz i prefer the look)..So let me know if i can help...I will have the tmobile one for a few more days

Could you please backup the metro PCs version and post it please it would help me out a lot.
