themselves wont care, but they will forward the complaint to the dev, and devs have very, very few complaints until the account gets pulled. So they will often honor any legit complaint with a refund when the alternative is possibly getting their account shut down.
It may work, it may not. Personally I tend to give refunds pretty liberally. I want happy customers, because then they are happy supporters and promoters of my app
