They take money from your phone account
Only
If they did you probably, inadvertently, gave them permission to.
If you didn't it is simple stealing and they are simple thieves.
In that case: report it to appropriate authorities (like Google's Market and the law).
I'm guessing that you upgraded, whether by accident or to get more features, to the Premium version.
"Please note that users in the following countries will be charged when upgrading to the Premium version."
This is followed by a list of countries, including the UK.

Oh man Redrover, that blows. Hopefully the Dev is understanding and give you the refund.
This is the email they sent me
As i never pressed any buttons they are still trying to con me out of my money
^I'm guessing they were "informational/explanatory" screenshots, not screens as evidence of his use of the app.
Google Checkout support themselves wont care, but they will forward the complaint to the dev, and devs have very, very few complaints until the account gets pulled. So they will often honor any legit complaint with a refund when the alternative is possibly getting their account shut down.
It may work, it may not. Personally I tend to give refunds pretty liberally. I want happy customers, because then they are happy supporters and promoters of my app![]()
Except if I'm reading the OP correctly. it was charged to his phone account not to his credit card. It would need to go through his carrier rather than credit card.I still say file a fraud claim with the credit card companyI believe it's a much faster route, lol.
Phone account = Google Account. I read it as it's through Google Checkout, which requires your credit card for you to make any app purchases and in app purchases.Except if I'm reading the OP correctly. it was charged to his phone account not to his credit card. That makes sense too. I read it as when you text to Red Cross and donate $10 for relief kind of thing.Phone account = Google Account. I read it as it's through Google Checkout, which requires your credit card for you to make any app purchases and in app purchases.

Can you not block through your carrier? My carrier (Virgin Mobile USA) has a page in my account where I can add numbers to block their SMS.Can anybody suggest an honest sms call blocker
