Root Warranty and rooting

Sorry if this has been posted already, but I was wondering if rooting does void the warranty? And if so, is it only if you unlock the nand and install custom roms and all that jazz or would just installing unrevoked also void the warranty?

And also if you root with simpleroot, how do you uninstall it?

Thanks :)

I think any kind of root voids warranty because it gives you access to permissions/folders that you wouldn't normally have access to. On that note, if you run RUU and go back to stock, there is practically no way for Sprint to determine that your phone was at some point rooted.

Simple Root can not be uninstalled like unRevoked because it is a full root. However, running RUU will return your phone to stock.
