Watching Live News

Is there an app for watching live news on the Eris? I would prefer to be able to watch CNN Live on my android but any big news channel would do. Also, I plan on placing the eris on the cradle at my desk and having the live news play on it almost all day, will this hurt the phone's hardware because of such accessive use?

Hello,

I use SPB TV full version-- put it on my phone the other day and it is a pretty neat app. Mainly international news and some local as well, but it gets the job done. Hope this helps!

the reviews for these apps are mostly crap.
my advice, don't pay for it until you review the free version.

OP: did you try tv.com application? maybe there is news on there?

You r right. That app is crap and not what I was looking for. I do appreciate the suggestion though. If I can use my desktop browser and watch live news on CNN or fox I would think that it should be possible on a phone such as Eris. Thanks and may be it will come out in future.

Mmm... I have great luck with it. Works really good for me, I wouldn't recommend it if it didn't. Maybe its more my taste because of the over seas news?

It did work for me, just didn't have a continues live feed of a popular news channell such as abc, cnn or fox.
