[kingnut]

i have found a couple times online i can watch youtube in true 720P. but its not through the youtube app. its through the actual website. the HD tab in the youtube app isnt more than 480P for sure, and at times im not even sure its that high.

is there are way to watch 720P videos on youtube? also to bypass the not available on mobile setting for alot of music videos?

Well, the device's resoltion is qHD, or 960x540, which is less than 720p. It wouldn't look much better anyway. You can always download the video, then play it in a media player on the phone, but that's too much work for me.

for some reason it looks 10 times better than HD on the youtube app. Im betting the HD setting on the youtube app is 360p at best. cause it looks like crap most of the time.

or is there atleast a way to view all youtube videos but not through the youtube app?
