Help Water Damage help!!

Hi I recently water damaged my phone and had it repaired under my insurance. I was wondering if the indicator still shows that it has been damaged or do they change it when repaired? I don't seem to have a sticker on my battery but I do have one user the battery on the phone it is white with blue/purple X's on it. If someone could help me understand if this still indicates that the phone has bee water damaged? Thanks
 
Mine is purple Xs on white background too :)
I havent knowingly water damaged my phone but its 2yrs old and ive had it in a steamy bathroom etc so maybe someone with a newer phone should check :thumbup:
 
Do you have a sticker on your battery? Same end as gold connectors but Opposite corner to them? I don't but that's also meant be white if no water damage x
 
Nope. Nothing on the battery.
I did some googling and it seems like the sticker varies on different carrier versions.
my guess is that when it gets wet, those Xs "bleed" into the background and turn it purple.
Im almost tempted to lick it and see lol :D
 
Lol. I thought the same. I'm just worried phone is going to be worth nothing when I come to upgrade due to the water damage.
