Help Water Damage Indicator Question

Hi,
My husband's Droid's LCD screen has gone haywire. Actually, it no longer works at all. There hasn't been any water damage but the sticker looks a little weird. Pics are below (the part at the top that looks like corrosion is just some flash artifact). Does this look normal? Thanks

I cnat see the picture, but indicator should be white w/ red plus signs

Thank you for replying and sorry about that. Copied the wrong link from dropbox, fixed now.

As you can see in the pic there is a white background and red X's but there's also a red dot. Weird.

ETA: the indicator on the battery is perfect

I would say that there was some water damage, but it did not effect the whole indicator. Their are multiply indicators throughout the phone.

Where you have a red splotch I have two more + + things
So it looks like it sort of got wet?
