Water Damage - Mic Problems

Hi all,

Does anyone know if there is a replacement part for the speakerphone mic on an i727? I know you can replace the main mic including the USB charging port but I can't seem to find a part anywhere that clearly says it is for the top (speakerphone) mic. I also know the i9100 has a replacement for the speakerphone mic/vibration module. Mine was water damaged and I'm hoping I can repair just the module and that the secondary mic isn't somehow built in to the mainboard. Surprisingly everything else works fine on the phone - it went in a hot tub for over an hour with me. I dried it for a day outdoors and cleaned some minor corrosion off the battery and all was fine except the microphones. The main mic cuts in and out, especially when the charger is plugged in and the speaker phone mic doesn't work at all unless I scream directly down the tiny hole at the top of the phone.

If anyone could link me to the parts or give me an idea of how much it might cost to replace both mic modules that would be dandy.

Thanks.

Mine fell in the toilet about 5 days after I got it. My hands raced the phone to the toilet water, but the phone won. Try burying the phone in white rice overnight, or get the end of the vacuum cleaner hose right up next to the microphone and let it suck. Allow air to flow down the tube. Try that for about 20 minutes. See if anything's better. When mine was drying, I tried voice to text. The machine, through the mike, couldn't sense sounds well, so the text readout was a flurry of obscene phrases, no matter what I said. It was hilarious.
