Hi everyone...could i please get sum help? Last night i dropped my htc desire hd in a sink full of water..only for a few seconds i removed all cards and battery straight away placed it in the water tank cupboard to dry out overnite but when i turned it on today the phone seems to be working fine but i have noticed a large white mark running right down the center of the screen i was just wondering will it dry out and go away or will the screen need replaced? Thanks

Sorry to hear about your accident... never good when this sort of thing happens!!
Your best bet would be to try and put the phone in a bag of (uncooked) rice in an airing cupboard over 24-48hrs to ensure that it is fully dry. If the white mark is dampness, then you would be best not using the phone, to avoid further damage!

Keep the phone powered off, with the battery and SD card removed, for a while longer as moisture can linger inside the casing for some time. The ideal solution is to place it in a bag with a small amount of uncooked rice, as this will absorb excess moisture.
