Water sensor tripped already? lol...

I'm pretty sure my water sensor has already been tripped somehow even though I haven't had my phone anywhere near any type of moisture. I don't even bring this one into the bathroom when I shower...

Anyone else have a tripped water sensor already? I think it's the small dot you can see in the top left (camera lens corner) if you remove the battery cover, should have red X's if you tripped it.

Mine also has the red Xs, so I would guess that doesn't mean its tripped. Because I am sure that I didn't as well.

Some phones have the red showing IE Droid and some have it all white IE G1. Differs on manufacturers most the time.

Edit: Theres one on your battery aswell.

red x's means it's fine, they wash out if it trips....

pretty sure this is a vzw thing, i had the same concern on my storm and they confirmed that is the way it is....fwiw the eris is the same, red x sticker by charging port.

Ya thats what happens, but then your warranty is void. VZW/Motorola/Asuruion wont do any claims agains them without you paying a deductible on your insurance if there is ever an issue with your phone.

The one on my old Blackberry turned red when it fell in water. Did they change it to fade white? Seems like it would make more sense that it turns solid red.

This is what I thought lol... guess Verizon and Moto do things backwards
