waterproof case

I just bought my first Droid, an Inc2 and really need advice from anyone who has used a waterproof case for this phone. I have used ziplock bags in the past and found they are unreliable if you go swimming accidently.

I doubt that there is a case that will protect the Inc2 better than a ziplock bag. The Otterbox Defender will offer some water resistance, but I don't think it will be waterproof.

It's possibly splash resistant, but that's it. There are openings for the mics and flaps for the 3.5 mm headphone jack and micro USB connector.

Look into RAM-Mount Aqua Boxes: RAM-Mount Link

trident drypak is serious protection and you can still use the phone. Otherwise smartsleeves.com for form fitting ziplocks.

Yepper. I have the Yellow Trident one. I'm an avid Scuba diver but I don't take my phone with me. I dive to get away from the phone.

I am an huge fly-fisher and am on ponds and rivers often. I use a foodsaver food sealer to waterproof my phone. the first thing i do is make sure i have a case on it that is higher then all the buttons. i then use a small rubber o-ring over the ear peace to allow the sound to travel better. and one on the back speaker. I use the pre-made bags not the do it your self ones. make sure the clear flat side is up and the ridged side down. leave some air in the bag but suck out as much as you can so the phone wont move, if you do too much you wont hear the calls. i like to go as close to the phone as i can then seal near the end to give me a space for my tether encase the phone falls into the water. . works well so far. or if looks dont bother you add a section of foam noodle to the back of the phone and it floats.
