Hi all.
Just a quick question.
Correct me if I'm wrong. When 2.1 is finally released, my Hero will be wiped clean and all apps will need re-installing, do you think, as the free for life wavesecure offer will be over, they will want payment next time or is it a simple case of re-installing under the old terms ?
Hopefully this makes sense. You can probably tell I am quite new to all this !

I would assume that, if you use the same username/PIN details as before, the offer will stand. After all, factory resets/wipes aren't uncommon.

I suspect that the app will remain free. Think it's the account subscription that you would have to pay for, and theyve said that the offer is of a free lifetime subscription.

edit: the account is tied to your phone number, so should probably remain valid even if you change phones. See this post. Maybe it will even still work if you switch to a non-android phone.
