Way to access system notification folder?

I'd like to put my custom sound files onto the system notification folder because when my Droid is plugged in and mounted my custom sound files (Which are on the SDCard) are then defaulted to whichever is set for the system. I realize they'll take up device memory but its only a couple of sound files taking up less than 150k.
