So....I've been reading up on WEA (Wireless Emergency Alert) messages. Seems like a great feature to have....in fact my son's Pantech Jest 2 can receive them. Anyone read anything about or know if the Rezound will be able to receive these in the near future? I've done quite a bit or research online and can't find anything about it although I think I remember reading somewhere that the Rezound will be able to eventually.

I don't know how up-to-date the list is from Verizon, but there are no HTC phones on the list, or (VW) Pantech phones either...

The Jest 2 is a Pantech phone. I found a post on another website that linked to the ICS update info that HTC had up for one day before they took it back down. It lists the features the Rezound will get with the ICS update & it does say that WEA will be capable on the Rezound with ICS.
