I live in Bethlehem PA, and I "believe" we have finally acquired Metro's 4g. I have been sitting outside and Poof just like that I have 4g, I know its not a phone glitch or error because I've loaded youtube videos where I didn't have to wait for it to load. But if I walk 4-5 steps in either direction or get in my car poof just like that 1x again. Now I was thinking that maybe I'm right on the edge of the coverage area or maybe they are testing it out or working out the kinks. I know there's no way to boost your signal but is there a more "solid" way of linking into the 4g? You know the drill, thanks in advance for any contribution to my inquiry. :banghead: :adore:

unfortunately that's metro's 4g, some places it works great other places it just drops off.

thanks man...I'm not new...I'm very familiar with the forum. I lerk from the shadows, but thanks anyway. I have noticed that if I turn on airplane mode then wait a min then turn it back on the 4g pops up....then goes back to 1x after a while. I tried the method you suggested and it really didn't do anything i noticed. Maybe it will make my speeds faster when I do lock into them. Any other ideas....I'm running broken out esteem btw. Not like that's relevant anyhow.

Only way is to update prl or wait till metro expands there coverage there.
Does anyone have the PRL? or the update?
