Weather app smarter than me!

Okay I open my weather app and go to setting.

(I want the weather app to update ever hour automatically.)

I check the update automatically,
This allows me to access the update schedule options,
I select "every 1 hour"

I then go back to my home screen, NOW HERES WHERE IT GET WEIRD!

I reopen the weather app, go to settings and BAM!
Update automatically is unchecked
and update schedule is grayed out!

Ive tried resetting the phone, and resetting the weather settings and it always go back instantly.

WHAT GIVES?

Perhaps... the app itself might not working properly or worthless app that kept defaulting back/or glitch. Don't mind telling me whats weather app u used?

I believe you have to go to Settings>Accounts&Sync> check the Auto-Sync box and make sure the green circle is lit on the weather tab below. You should then be able to go back to the weather app and change your sync settings to every hour without it reverting back.
