Help Weather from Current Location

Presidency

Lurker
As far as I know, this issue has never been posted from what I can find in google and is quite interesting.
My HTC EVO 4G, purchased December 2010, has been working great. I have had absolutely no issues. There is one thing that bothers me though, it's not a huge issue but it's annoying.
The default weather app on the phone has the current location and the option to add multiple cities. For every HTC Evo 4G that I know of in Las Vegas (my current location), friends and my 4 family members all have this issue. When you look at the current location's weather, it does NOT display tomorrow's weather. But if 'we' were to add Las Vegas as it's own city, it then displays tomorrow's weather. Current location is correctly listed as Las Vegas but it also has a different 'today' temperature than the city Las Vegas.
At the moment, Las Vegas (Current) is 68dF, H74/L41 and lists Wed-Sat but custom city Las Vegas, NV is 66dF, H76/L56 and lists Tue-Fri (and according to weather.com Las Vegas is currently 66dF).

What's the reasoning for this? I would like current location to have the current temperature and tomorrow's temperature too... :D

This a list of the phone information stuff I think is needed, I keep my phone and all it's updates current, including all the apps etc.

First off, welcome to the forums!!! :D

I believe with sense 1.0 this behavior was actually a glitch / bug that was never fixed. I've experienced the same thing. In later versions of sense like 3.0 and 3.5 it will perform the actions you're looking for.
The current location weather being displayed is using the closest cell tower info to display your weather. If you choose the city it will display the info from the weather stations or from weather.com, I believe. That's why you are getting differing numbers, at least that's why I think you are. :)

I had the same problem, I download Go weather(it's free) and you can have it as a widget and have the live weather conditions as your background :p
