Help Weather issues on lockscreen

Okay so for the last 2 days or so the weather app on my lock screen and home screen have been saying no weather forecast available. After fiddling with it for a little I remedied the problem by just opening the weather app from the menu. This however only seems to work for a little and my phone shortly goes back to saying no weather forecast available. I searched the forum and didn't find any topics close to this one so any suggestions??

do you have background data on?

in your weather sync settings in the sync tab in settings, what do you have checked as for how often to update?

Yes I do have background data on and it updates every three hours. I did notice the auto-sync option below background data in settings was unchecked. I checked and it seems to have fixed the problem for now.

would not call it a problem per se, just not enough room for the entire word.. sure the devs could have made it look more polished by fading the words like they do on the home screens, however i would not call it a problem?

I'll go ahead and email them as well. It's annoying that it cuts off a digit if the temp. is 3 digits.
Yeah I live in Arizona so we're over 100 almost every day. We hit 118 today and my Phone read "18". Kind of annoying... but nothing serious...

Besides the "1" being cut off on the lock screen once you hit 100+, the "1" of 100+ is "lost" in the clouds on the home screen when the weather image shows "Partly Sunny".

I noticed that the weather data on my lock screen and my htc clock/weather does not always automatically appear when I turn the screen on with my htc 3d. Does the GPS (on or off) affects the displaying of the weather? I have the weather settings set to update when opened.

I have had similar problems for a day or a bit more, but fixed them when I found i had evidently accidentally unchecked sync in the weather account. Checking it fixed the problem.

One issue that I found on the lock screen weather widget is that when the temperature reaches the 3 digits, only 2 show up on the screen. For example, it'd be 100 degrees outside, but it'd only show 00 degrees. I ended up removing that widget.

SolApathy has objected to the thread merge and edited his helpful posts out, now they're deleted.

The missing flow in the conversation is that the lockscreen weather loses the 1 when temperature exceeds 100 degF and he wrote to HTC about it.

We urge all with the problem to do likewise.

hey i've been trying to get the stock weather app to update automatically, so i went to settings in the app and saw update when opened which is checked. there is also "scheduled sync" and "update schedule" but they are both greyed out options and nothing i have tried makes them un-greyed out. tips?

The HTC weather widget has to be on your one of your home screens in order for it to work properly. I did not see this mentioned earlier, so I figured I'd chip in...

Fortunately for me, in CenTex, most of our hotter days, it's partly cloiudy so the "phone clouds" cover up what would be the "1"! So hope for cooler days or clouds! :D

Haha. The only reason I noticed the three digit issue is because we have been having a spate of really high temperatures here the last few days. :D

In my neck of the woods we do not reach those temperatures often, unless you count the heat index. Normally the highest we go is in the 90+
