I have a LG OPtimus, I once had the weather widget but I removed it, now everytime I unlock my phone it says Weather Service Unavaliable. How can I stop this
Sounds like the service is still running even though I assume you've removed the widget from one of your screens.
Try going to Settings>Applications>Running Services. Locate the service if it's there and tap to stop. It shouldn't launch again unless you open the app.
I had a similar issue on an older version of the Weather Channel widget. It would try to connect to the server for updates but would error out or I'd get no data. I eventually fixed by uninstalling and installing a later version.
