Help Weather Temp

When I go to my home page, the temperature is displayed in the upper left corner in very small numbers. Too small really for me eyes. I use Weather Bug. I don't know whether that matters, but that's my Weather App of choice.

Here's my questions.

Is there any way to make it bigger? Even it I make everything bigger such as the battery level and other indicators in that top bar.

is there any way to have the temp appear on the "locked" screen. So that I can just touch a button and see it, without having to unlock the phone.

Any advice I would appreciate it.

Hold your finger down on home screen and a box will pop up. Select widgets then select the weather widget. You can drag it wherever you want.
