As per verizon, Weather App fix

got to menu/settings/applications/manage apps/weather provider/then clear data.

All should be good...

Worked for me as well, got the upgrade earlier this morning.

Worked beautifully - no more force close. But interestingly, when re-adding cities (since that info is lost when clearing data), my town is no longer listed. It was there in 1.5!

Its ok find the nearest city or state and select it. Wait a few minutes and press the widget to update it. It should find your location as long as you have the location settings on.

Im in staten island, new york but it will only list new york. But when i manually update it finds staten island and it stays..
