I've been using My-Cast Weather, a simple, quick app but with a nice little "sun peeping through the clouds" icon. ;)

No drag on resources as with Weather Bug (of course you can configure any weather app to only update on-demand, as opposed to in the background which drains the battery and can cause lag).

Here's their website, but it's available in Market for free.

My-Cast - Weather on your mobile phone.

I like the standard genie widget, you can find the apk on xda. I even have a transparent background for it.

thanks guys for you suggestions.. i decided to download Fancy Widgets.. so far i like it... so we shall see... =) thanks again!
