Is there a way to get back to your home screen on the stock browser. It seems like there should be a button for this. I know I can get to it on the bookmark page, but this is an extra step. Any shortcut keys somewhere?

Are you referring to the home page? If so i just hit the menu button select windows and close the window which defaults back to the home page. Plus it closes the history for that window so if you were logged into your bank account and don't want the back button bringing it back up when you log off this will clear the data so that it wont be brought back up.
