webcam with android tablets

Hey all i know some tablets built in webcams but i would like to know if i can buy a generic usb or wireless web cam and connect it to a tablet.


Any ideas??

May depend on the make & model tablet, perhaps.
Even with the built in cam on my Flytouch 2 it won't work as a webcam.
I tryed connecting a Logitech usb cam & it didn't even notice.

Well i guess i should have elaborated.......basically i have an archos 101 but the problem is the webcam stinks and i want to take pictures of myself and of other things with the tablet. So i was thinking of connecting a high end webcam, are there any alternative options??

In that case take it into a shop that sells webcams & try one.
