webos vs android

I know I had a palm pre plus before switching back. I miss the multitask though. It still not for me as it doesnt have alot of apps and etc.

I played with WebOS on the Palm Pre when it came out and was very, very impressed with it. I'm looking forward to seeing it run on an HP Slate. I'll judge how viable I think it is then.

someone is just blasting the voting toward web os. refresh the page and look. every time the vote count goes up for android, it goes up the same amount for webos.

Not sure how WebOS would win any poll at this point. It was out on all of two devices if my memory serves me correct and the hardware on both of those devices was subpar. Android has been on everything. You can practically get an Android powered toaster nowadays.

I have a Palm Pre Plus right now. Web OS is awesome - very easy, and intuitive. But the Palm Pre hardware is not that good. The touchstone charging system, however, is fantastic!

I'll probably jump on the Android bandwagon within the next few weeks though... either the Thunderbolt or the Atrix.

Android is catching up... work on this guys!

and actually I found this avatar through Google Image search, but I have seen it on Tiger Droppings. Geaux Tigers.

Again, how can WebOS even compete when it was on two phones both of which are not in production any more and haven't been for a while?

It's rigged by someone somewhere. We do this all the time at TigerDroppings to ESPN. We take over their user polls and voting so that it's always LSU or used to be Jordan Jefferson for some QB thing that they were doing. It got so bad at one point it was like 7000 to 1000 gap for JJ and they reset the poll to 0-0 for everyone.

its not rigged but people cheat all you have to do is reset cookies, macro that shit, and you could vote 1,000 times in an hour.

All it says is who is better at cheating!

Is there some sort of reward at the end for our labors?

Will we hoist the lombardi if we win?

Trip to the White house maybe?

C'mon at least a few $$ in it for us right?

No, hmmm .... Lemme know when it becomes profitable and then maybe I might consider stuffing the ballot.

By rigged, I meant this.

Besides, shouldn't we hold the cheating crown? Someone should set us up for non failure.

I really question this poll. The only reason why WebOS beat MeeGo is that MeeGo is out on all of ZERO devices. They also ignored Symbian completely.

Voted. Not like it matters. The only OS votes that do matter are the votes people make when they purchase an OS, and in that stat, Android is the clear winner. Internet polls are teh sux.

i used to care about these types of votes..
but to many vote incorrectly or biased by the sites that promote it.

on this particular battle... they are voting on which OS is better. NOT what OS are you using. people that vote...do not know the other OS, so how can they make a good informed vote? so most will vote for what they are using as the best OS.

I love android. awesome OS. Best OS i have ever used.
I have never used WebOS. But from the readings and research.. I think WebOS is a better design. But it failed in Implementation.

so.. I dont know which is better.. so I did not vote.

Oh well, we'll give em this one. Not sure what it proves, but I'm not worried that Android will tumble to the ground after losing.

I guess it proves that webos is the best system nobody buys.
