Hi i have just brought the HTC D HD and i was wondering if anyone know's how to view the normal websites and not mobile versions.

For example I search for youtube in google and it always brings up the mobile version, but i want the web version you get on laptops, can anyone help?

Thanks

A lot of websites have a link at the bottom somewhere that'l say something along the lines of "view full website".

Alternatively on most phones there's an option to stop your mobile appearing as a mobile device when you visit web pages.

Open Internet Browser, Hit Menu, More, Settings, Untick “Mobile View”

Some web pages have an option to switch between mobile/desktop view (like google.com). Mobile webpages usually have m.something.com URL so try deleting the m. part. It will most probably just return it automatically but you can give it a try.

I know that some browsers have an option to force mobile or standard view (like opera mobile on my n95)

Use Skyfire. Download it from the market. Theres a button on the web that allows you to view the website as if your viewing it on the computer. It works very well too.

While you have internet open go into Menu/Settings and untick Mobile view.
