Webtop Firefox question

patarick

Lurker
Motorola goes out of their way to tell people that the version of Firefox running in the webtop mode is the same as the desktop version you'd download for your PC. If that's the case, does that mean you'll be able to install Firefox extensions and scripts in it? Can I sync my bookmarks and passwords with Xmarks and LastPass? Can I run ScriptMonkey and Adblock?

If anyone can find an interview quote, video, or any other evidence, please share.

It's the Ubuntu / Linux ARM build of Firefox. Anything which will run on that (should include most/all extensions) will run.

During the keynote the tech guy that was demoing it said it was Firefox 3.6, latest build. I am also hoping extensions will work but i'm not 100% on how much trouble it being compiled for ARM is going to be. Probably not a big deal.
