Help Weird alarm sound when charging

I have a weird issue with my new Charge. I've noticed this when I plug it in to the computer or to the wall charger. I get this weird/obnoxious/loud alarm sound. It's extremely loud and obnoxious and woke me up one night last week and made everybody say "what the heck is that" at work the other day. It seems that if I pull down the notification tab/bar (whatever it's called) from the top it stops.

Has anyone else had this and how the heck do I fix it.

I think you are talking about the fully charged notification. There isnt much you can do but completely turn off notifications and get a third party notification app like missed call from the market like I did.

There is also this strange sound when you have the phone plugged in and have a message waiting I think this is what the OP is talking about. Its normal. This happens when its plugged in to a computer USB and in the mass storage mode if I recall.
 
Ok, so there's no way to turn it off.

I searched for missed call in the market, but there are a lot that have the name missed call. Can you be more specific?

I can't believe that there's no way to turn it off. I've noticed that it happens also when it's not fully charged but when it's plugged into the computer.

There's a thread somewhere on the internet (xda or df IIRC), where if you are in the dialer programming menu there is a code or option to disable the fully charged notification.

Someone needs to find that link and post it here. It was found by someone that found the process on another samsung phone and it works on the DC.
 
It seems like if you disable notifications under settings you can still set t the notification through you sms program and it eliminates the dumb ass battery full sleep killer.
