Help weird battery indicator.....

Every so often, my battery indicator changes from a green to a gray with a exclamation point in it....phone works fine when this happens, no performance issues and battery life is good. Turns back to green if I turn the phone off/on. Anybody know what it means?

I personally wouldn't use water to clean the battery connections.

Thanks for the link, I'll clean the connections with a bit of alcohol and see what happens.

water won't hurt it. just don't immerse it.

A pencil eraser is often recommended for cleaning contacts.

I use brass polish then alcohol, just like on my Nintendo games.

Well, after cleaning, it still did it. Went to the Verizon store, expecting the run around since the phone was about nine months old. Got a nice sale girl who got me a refurb phone, with out any hassle. I was not aware how bad the speaker on my old phone was until I got the new phone.....
