Weird dos type menu

Hi All.

I turned the phone off during the night and when I woke this morning there was a strange menu on the screen.

It had 3 androids at the bottom and at the top it was talking anout Safe Boot or Fast Boot, and also the hereo.

I couldn't select anything so I took the battery out.

Anyone know what this might have been?

Don't remember what they call the menu but it is used for stuff like factory reset.
power up the phone while holding volume down to get to it.

God knows how it got there though as I was shutting down not booting up.

But TBH, my shut down is pretty screwed up anyway (as with a lot of people's) so I expect it's something to do with that..
