Root Weird Issue

I have my Design rooted with CWM, it is otherwise stock, the only 2 root apps I am using are WiFi Tether and an ad blocker.

I am having a strange issue where if I just let my phone sit (say on a table for example) the screen will randomly light up. My lock screen is currently set to weather so every time it lights up I see that little animation, and I have no idea what is causing it

Does anyone know the cause of this or a possible solution?
Is anyone else even having this issue?
 
There are two things I know of first hand that might cause that. One is that when you plug in the phone to a charger or USB cable connected to a computer, it will wake up the screen so perhaps there is a short or something bugging up the usb port on the phone.

The other possible cause is sticky buttons. Hitting the volume buttons or the power button will wake the screen. If the buttons are sticky or something liquid or dust/metal particles that conduct electricity gets into the buttons, it may cause them to make contact on their own without user interaction.
 
I think it might have had something to do with having fast boot enabled. I turned that off in my power settings and strangely it hasn't happened since
