For some reason, for about the past hour, I have had a message on my Captivate's homescreen saying "Upgrading database...". I have no idea when it showed up or what it's for. It appears to be a message from the operating system in the blue rectangle. Does anyone have any idea as to what this is or what it's doing? Has anyone ever seen this? Thanks in advance.

I've never seen that specific message, but my Captivate has displayed similar stuff in the blue rectangle you're talking about. From my experience, sometimes it seems like it just gets frozen there, like for hours. Usually if it stays up for more than 10-20 minutes, I'll just turn my phone off and turn it back on, which has worked every time for me. But I've never seen "upgrading database" and I'm not sure what that means.
