Help weird network problems

I currenly have a samsung nexus from US Cellulair. I recently rooted my phone. My internet works fine until like 10 minutes later, suddenly it cannot connect to the internet. I have to turn off the phone and turn it back on. This is something new. I looked through networks, apps, and location menus, I even investagated if I had a app that was blocking it. Is there anything I can do?

just to clarify. What type of phone do you have? Samsung Galaxy Nexus or Samsung Nexus S?
