Root Weird purple line issue?

So I'm having a weird issue on pictures and videos (YouTube vids included) where random purple lines appear in random places. I'm on oa right now but I might switch roms to see if that's the problem but has anybody else had this or know what I'm talking about?
 
I'm on OA also haven't experienced yet. I'll go try out a couple videos an what not are you using the default camera?
 
Prolly the camera your using... it must have taken an effect on the YouTube app ...
Or somewhat ;)
Go back to stock camera and see if you experience the same issue
 
also a different angle here. have you experienced this in different physical locations?
or always in the same spot. i would assume emitted rf signal radiation may effwct a cellphones display. such as monitor, modem,microwave.maybe a refridgerator.
i dont know alot about android noticed you didnt recieve alot of support. does happen when only when charging?/poss grounding issue/
i dont know anything else if was pc maybe reinstall drivers i think those issue are not rlated here. good luck
 
I dont mean it appears when i take pictures or videos it appears everywhere in random places on my screen so i dont think its a rom problem because i flashed a different rom and i still have it. It appears on my download bar, the icons of some apps, just about all pictures i look at even the ones on twitter. It appears on just about every part of my screen. I thought it was bad pixels so i download an app to scan for them and it didn't show anything. My friend thought it was something magnetic close to my phone but i havent gotten anything new
 
Is this on that donor admire i sent you?

The screen probably got pressure against it somehow? I had that happen with an older phone though the admires screens are glass so i don't see how that can happen...
 
have you experienced whike charging and not charging both. do you guse outside.. now this may seem stupid to everybody but did you have new carpet installed recently?
 
No pressure has really been put on the screen. Any time I dropped it it was in its case and nothing has ever hit the screen. My phone can't charge but when it could charge it was still on the screen.
 
Nah. I'm assuming it's a hardware issue. It just really annoys me when im watching videos or looking at pictures.
 
depending on your setup.
if your overclocked,
I'd start at the sd card, and work my way back to the rom.
if you can't get any change then it has to be the phone.

I have actually had this problem a couple times, mostly in the gallery but sometimes in other apps. Usually happens in horizontal mode but when I rotate the phone vertical and then back, it usually clears up. I am running OA2.3 and am underclocked to 800Mhz, and it never happens in the same scenario, always random. Never really bothered me when I noticed it happened so randomly and never affected anything else. Happens to my wifes Admire, too, also running the latest and greatest OA2.3 :)
